…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in West
Virginia…

Tygart Valley River At Philippi affecting Barbour County.

For the Tygart Valley River…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Tygart Valley River at Philippi.

* WHEN…From late tonight to early tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 19.0 feet, The intersection of US Route 119 and Truck
Route 250 is flooded. Also, Sycamore Street and Beech Avenue are
flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:00 PM EST Thursday the stage was 17.8 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise above flood stage late tonight
to 19.2 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood
stage tomorrow morning.
– Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
19.2 feet on 06/06/1981.
