Meteorological Summary:
 
  • Dense Fog Advisories remain in effect across portions of North and Central Florida as areas of dense fog will reduce visibilities to ¼ mile of less at times through the mid-morning hours.
  • Another mostly sunny day is expected across the Sunshine State courtesy of an area of high pressure shifting eastward into the Western Atlantic (near 0% chance of rain).
  • High temperatures in the middle 70s to low 80s nearly statewide with middle 60s to middle 70s along coastal portions of North and East-Central Florida.
  • Moderate risk for rip currents along Florida Panhandle and East Coast.
  • Breezy easterly to southeasterly winds near 5-15 mph with gusts upwards of 10-20 mph.
  • An isolated shower or thunderstorm or two may drift into the Panhandle overnight ahead of this approaching cold front (near 0-5% chance of rain) while the rest of the state remains dry and mostly clear through the overnight hours (near 0% chance of rain).
  • Low temperatures in the middle to upper 50s across North Florida, upper 50s to low 60s across Central Florida and the Western Panhandle, and middle 60s to low 70s across South Florida and the Keys.
  • Areas dense fog will likely develop across Northeast and Central Florida overnight into Friday morning with areas of patchy to locally dense fog developing elsewhere across the state; Dense Fog Advisories will be issued as conditions warrant.
