Meteorological Summary:
- Dense Fog Advisories will remain in effect across portions of South Florida and the Keys through the mid-morning hours due to reduced visibility from foggy conditions and low clouds.
- Areas of patchy fog throughout the state will lift and dissipate by the early morning hours shortly after sunrise.
- Lingering sea fog along the Southwest Florida coastline and coastal waters will be possible throughout the day even as inland fog dissipates.
- Spotty showers have developed this morning along East-Central Florida due to a lingering frontal boundary draped across the Peninsula, and additional light sprinkles or brief showers will be possible through the morning and afternoon hours across interior Central and South Florida (15-20% chance of rain).
- High temperatures will reach the 70s and low 80s across the state this afternoon with the help of sunshine and cloud cover.
- A few spotty showers may continue into the evening and early overnight hours across interior portions of South Florida and along the East Coast (10-20% chance of rain).
- Calm conditions and clearing skies will give way to another round of fog development across the state overnight and into Monday morning, with areas of locally dense fog possible.
- A moderate risk for rip currents returns to the Panhandle coastline and continues for numerous East Coast beaches. A low risk for rip currents can be expected across West Coast and Southeast Florida beaches.
