Areas of patchy fog and low clouds continue to impact interior portions of the Florida Panhandle this morning, with visibility of one-quarter mile or less in locations.
Partly cloudy skies, warming temperatures, and near-zero rain chances can be expected across the Sunshine State, courtesy of a building area of high pressure along the central Gulf Coast.
Lingering low-level moisture and light winds tonight will once again allow for areas of fog and low cloudsto develop through the inland southern Florida Peninsula into the mid-Wednesday morning hours.
While chances for widespread visibility concerns remain generally low, instances of patchy dense fog and low cloudscannot be ruled out across the Florida Panhandle.
While relative humidity values will remain above critical thresholds, drought-ridden and dry soils/vegetation may lead to a locally sensitive wildfire threatthis afternoon throughout inland portions of South Florida.
An elevated rip current riskcontinues today for Florida Panhandle and East-Central Florida beaches.
