Lake Effect Snow Warning issued February 6 at 9:37PM EST until February 8 at 10:00AM EST by NWS Buffalo NY

* WHAT…Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations 6
to 12 inches in the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as
high as 45 mph will produce areas of blowing snow.

* WHERE…Oswego County.

* WHEN…From 7 AM Friday to 10 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Travel will be difficult. Areas of blowing snow will
significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could
impact the Friday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds will
down tree branches and cause isolated power outages.
