South central Yancey County in western North Carolina…

* Until 1100 PM EST.

* At 1007 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Sevierville,
moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include…
Downtown Asheville, Marshall, East Asheville, West Asheville, North
Asheville, Black Mountain, Woodfin, Swannanoa, Weaverville, and
Fairview In Buncombe County.
