Special Weather Statement issued February 6 at 3:13PM AKST by NWS Fairbanks AK

Areas of freezing drizzle and flurries across the Fairbanks area
today. Freezing drizzle has resulted in a glaze of ice near
Eielson and Salcha. Travel may be difficult.

This will transition to snow this evening and tonight with 2 to 4
inches of snow expected through midday Friday. The heaviest snow
will arrive early Friday morning making for a potentially
difficult morning commute as visibility will be reduced in
moderate to heavy snow.
