Winter Storm Warning issued February 6 at 4:17PM PST until February 7 at 4:00AM PST by NWS Sacramento CA

* WHAT…Heavy snow above 1000 feet. Additional snow accumulations
of 3 to 6 inches, up to a foot over peaks. Winds gusting as high
as 40 mph.

* WHERE…Mountains Southwestern Shasta County to Western Colusa
County and Shasta Lake Area / Northern Shasta County County.

* WHEN…Until 4 AM PST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Very difficult travel conditions with chain controls and
road closures likely. Low visibility due to combination of wind
and heavy snow. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Thursday evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Heaviest snowfall is expected until 11 PM
Thursday, with snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches possible at times.
