Flood Warning issued February 7 at 10:48AM CST until February 15 at 9:16AM CST by NWS Paducah KY

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Indiana…Kentucky…

Ohio River at Newburgh Dam affecting Henderson, Warrick, Daviess,
Vanderburgh and Spencer Counties.

.Recent heavy rainfall that fell upstream along the Ohio River basin
will result in river levels rising this weekend into early next
week. Newburgh Lock and Dam is forecast to rise above flood stage on
Sunday.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Ohio River at Newburgh Dam.

* WHEN…From Sunday morning to Saturday, February 15.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 AM CST Friday the stage was 34.6 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late Sunday morning to a crest of 42.1 feet early Wednesday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday,
February 15.
– Flood stage is 38.0 feet.

The largest significant waves will be 4 feet with a potential maximum wave height of 5 feet. * WHERE...Outer Saginaw Bay SW of Alabaster to Port Austin MI to Inner Saginaw Bay and Inner Saginaw Bay SW of Point Au Gres to Bay Port MI. * WHEN...The maximum winds are expected around 7 PM EDT Monday with the largest waves expected around 11 AM EDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.
