Ohio River at Newburgh Dam.

.Recent heavy rainfall that fell upstream along the Ohio River basin
will result in river levels rising this weekend into early next
week. Newburgh Lock and Dam is forecast to rise above flood stage on
Sunday.

For the Ohio River…including Newburgh Dam…Minor flooding is
forecast.

– At 9:00 AM CST Saturday the stage was 35.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 42.5 feet early
Thursday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
Saturday, February 15.
