Flood Watch issued February 8 at 8:12PM EST until February 9 at 1:00PM EST by NWS Blacksburg VA

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE…Portions of west central Virginia, including the following
areas, Alleghany VA and Bath and southeast West Virginia,
including the following areas, Eastern Greenbrier, Mercer, Monroe,
Summers and Western Greenbrier.

* WHEN…Through Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Low-water crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– A cold front will approach southeast West Virginia over the
next several hours, and progress east tonight. Some of these
showers ahead of and along this cold front may produce
moderate to heavy rainfall rates.
