Special Weather Statement issued February 8 at 9:51PM EST by NWS Albany NY

A band of heavy snow continues to lead to less than a quarter of
a mile visibility and snow covered roads resulting in hazardous
travel. Snowfall rates up to 1 inch per hour will continue over
the next hour. Avoid unnecessary travel.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE…
Schenectady, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Gloversville, Johnstown, Ilion,
Herkimer, Scotia, Little Falls, Cobleskill, Canajoharie, Fonda,
Glenville, Niskayuna, Duanesburg, Mohawk, Frankfort, Fort Plain,
Dolgeville, and St. Johnsville.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 88 between exits 20 and 25.
Interstate 90 between exits 25 and 30.
Interstate 890 between exits 1a and 9.
