Winter Weather Advisory issued February 8 at 2:31PM EST until February 9 at 1:00PM EST by NWS Gray ME

…WINTER STORM TONIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING…

.A storm will pass south of the forecast area tonight and spread
snow from west to east beginning late this evening. Moderate to
occasionally heavy snow is expected south of the White Mountains and
over southwestern Maine through Sunday morning. Lighter snowfall
amounts are forecast to the north. Snow will end quickly Sunday
morning as the storm heads out to sea.

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5
inches.

* WHERE…Knox, Lincoln, Sagadahoc, and Androscoggin Counties.

* WHEN…From 7 PM this evening to 1 PM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Even light snowfall amounts can accumulate on roads and
cause dangerous driving conditions due to snow covered roads.
