Flood Warning issued February 9 at 10:09AM CST until February 16 at 2:44AM CST by NWS Paducah KY

…The National Weather Service in Paducah KY has issued a Flood
Warning for the following river in Indiana…Kentucky…

Ohio River at Mount Vernon.

.Recent heavy rainfall that fell upstream along the Ohio and Green
River basins are resulting in river levels rising for the week
ahead. Mount Vernon is forecast to rise above flood stage early week.

For the Ohio River…including Mount Vernon…Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Ohio River at Mount Vernon.

* WHEN…From Monday morning to Sunday, February 16.

* IMPACTS…At 40.0 feet, Farm land and some main roads are flooded
in places southwest and west of Mt. Vernon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 6:00 AM CST Sunday the stage was 33.4 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow morning to a crest of 38.1 feet Thursday morning. It
will then fall below flood stage Saturday evening.
– Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
