.Recent heavy rainfall that fell upstream along the Ohio River basin
is resulting in river levels rising into next week. Newburgh Lock
and Dam is forecast to remain in minor flood through the week ahead.

For the Ohio River…including Newburgh Dam…Minor flooding is
forecast.

– At 10:00 AM CST Sunday the stage was 38.6 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 42.5
feet Wednesday evening. It will then fall below flood stage
early Saturday afternoon.
– Flood stage is 38.0 feet.
