Flood Watch issued February 9 at 8:34PM CST until February 12 at 6:00AM CST by NWS Louisville KY

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE…A portion of south central Kentucky, including the
following counties, Adair, Allen, Barren, Butler, Casey, Clinton,
Cumberland, Edmonson, Green, Hart, Lincoln, Logan, Metcalfe,
Monroe, Russell, Simpson, Taylor and Warren.

* WHEN…From Monday evening through late Tuesday night.

* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water
crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches will be possible from
Monday night through Wednesday morning. This rainfall
combined with previous heavy rainfall over the past few days
may result in flooding in portions of the watch area.
