including the following counties, in south central Kentucky,
Laurel, McCreary, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Wayne and Whitley. In
southeast Kentucky, Bell, Breathitt, Clay, Floyd, Harlan, Jackson,
Knott, Knox, Leslie, Letcher, Owsley, Perry and Pike.
* WHEN…From Monday evening through Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– Another wave of low pressure will bring a good slug of rain
into southern parts of eastern Kentucky starting Monday
evening. With this the rain could be heavy at times, leading
to a potential for flooding due to already wet ground through
the area. 1.5 to over 2 inches of rain are forecast over
locations in the Flood Watch through Wednesday morning.
Additional rains, potentially heavy, will be possible later
in the week.
