Dense Fog Advisories remain in effect throughout the Big Bend and towards Nature Coast through the mid-morning hours as dense fog and low clouds have reduced visibility to ΒΌ of a mile or less at times.
Remember to use low beams while traveling and keep plenty of space between cars.
Foggy conditions and low clouds throughout the state will lift this morning leading to mostly dry conditions this afternoon (near 0-5% chance of rain).
Areas of sea fog may linger throughout the afternoon along Apalachee Bay and the Big Bend coastline as well as over the coastal waters through the afternoon.
Above normal high temperatures, with possibly record-breaking high temperatures, will persist statewide as values reach the upper 70s to middle 80s.
Mostly dry conditions can be expected to continue overnight even as a weak frontal boundary dips southward into the Southeast U.S.
Moisture flowing ahead of the weak front and calm winds will allow for scattered to widespread fog across North and Central Florida developing overnight and into Monday morning, and instances of dense fog can be expected.
Additional areas of patchy fog can be anticipated across South Florida by Monday morning.
Despite mostly calm marine conditions, onshore winds will continue to create a moderate risk for rip currents along several Panhandle and East-Central Florida beaches.
