* IMPACTS…Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best
swimmers away from shore into deeper water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Large, long-period north-northwest swell
is approaching the Marianas and will arrive early this morning.
This swell will produce hazardous surf and dangerous rip
currents. Surf and rip risk could subside briefly Tuesday,
however, both are expected to again build as another round of
large swells moves into the region.
