* WHAT…Very cold. Temperatures and wind chills of 5 to 15 below
zero expected.

* WHERE…Lookout Pass, Pinehurst, Clark Fork, Eastport, Sandpoint,
Dobson Pass, Osburn, Mullan, Athol, Schweitzer Mountain Road,
Kellogg, Wallace, St. Maries, Priest River, Fourth Of July Pass,
Fernwood, and Bonners Ferry.

* WHEN…From 8 PM this evening to noon PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could
result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Wind chill
values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Locally breezy conditions expected in the
Purcell Trench and over ridge tops with gusts up to 15 mph. Areas
sheltered from winds will experience temperatures as low as 10
below zero.
