Extreme Cold Watch issued February 10 at 1:42PM PST until February 12 at 12:00PM PST by NWS Portland OR

* WHAT…For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold temperatures as
low as 10 to 20 degrees expected. For the Extreme Cold Watch,
dangerously cold wind chills as low as 5 to 10 degrees possible.

* WHERE…Eastern Portland/Vancouver Metro, Foothills of the
Northern and Central Oregon Cascades, North Oregon Coast Range
Lowlands, North Oregon Coast Range, Willapa Hills, and South
Washington Cascade Foothills.

* WHEN…For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 7 PM this evening to
noon PST Tuesday. For the Extreme Cold Watch, from Tuesday evening
through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS…Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures. Very cold temperatures can lead
to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
