Flood Warning issued February 10 at 10:34AM CST until February 17 at 8:24AM CST by NWS Paducah KY

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Kentucky…Indiana…

Ohio River at Newburgh Dam and Mount Vernon.

.Recent heavy rainfall that fell upstream along the Ohio River basin
is resulting in rising river levels. At Newburgh, the river is
expected to crest just over 4 feet above flood stage Wednesday. At
Mount Vernon, the river will crest just under 4 feet above flood
stage Thursday.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Ohio River at Mount Vernon.

* WHEN…Until Monday, February 17.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 6:00 AM CST Monday the stage was 35.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 38.6
feet Thursday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
Monday, February 17.
– Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
