…The National Weather Service in Louisville KY has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Indiana…Kentucky…

Ohio River at Tell City affecting Hancock and Perry Counties.

.Heavy rain from the past several days has caused the river to rise.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Ohio River at Tell City.

* WHEN…From this evening to early Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 35.5 feet, Floodgates begin closing.
At 38.0 feet, Indiana highway 66 floods between Derby and Magnet…
Rome and Derby…and at Rocky Point.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 12:00 PM CST Monday the stage was 37.0 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 30.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this evening to a crest of 38.7 feet early Wednesday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday
evening.
– Flood stage is 38.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
38.3 feet on 01/29/2019.
