Flood Warning issued February 10 at 7:03PM CST until February 15 at 5:09PM CST by NWS Birmingham AL

…The National Weather Service in Birmingham AL has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Alabama…

Tombigbee River At Bevill Lock and Dam affecting Sumter, Greene
and Pickens Counties.

.Heavy rainfall of 2 to 4 inches is expected over the next 48 hours
over the Tombigbee River basin and a flood warning is now in effect
for the Tombigbee River.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Tombigbee River at Bevill Lock and Dam.

* WHEN…From Thursday morning to Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 122.0 feet, Cattle in low-lying areas of Southern
Pickens County should be moved to higher ground. Cattle are cutoff
in lowlands of Southern Pickens County at stages above 122 feet.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 5:00 PM CST Monday the stage was 109.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
Thursday morning to a crest of 123.7 feet early Friday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday
morning.
– Flood stage is 122.0 feet.
