Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report for Monday, February 10, 2025

• Dense Fog Advisories will remain in effect until the mid-morning hours (10:00 AM EST/9:00 AM CST) throughout North and Central Florida as dense fog conditions have reduced visibility to ¼ of a mile at times.
• Fog coverage and low clouds have reduced visibility statewide this morning, so remember to keep plenty of space between vehicles ahead and use low beams.
• While foggy conditions will lift throughout the morning hours, instances of sea fog may linger into the afternoon hours along the Big Bend and Nature Coast coastlines and coastal waters.
• A mixture of sunshine and cloud cover can be expected across the Sunshine State today, with instances of brief showers across portions of North and interior South Florida this afternoon and into the evening as a weak front settles into North Florida (10-15% chance of rain).
• Above normal high temperatures for this time of year will persist statewide with high temperatures reaching the upper 70s to middle 80s this afternoon.
• Lingering showers will continue this evening and into the early overnight hours across portions of North Florida, with additional showers developing along East-Central Florida as the front stalls (10-20% chance of rain).
• Scattered to widespread fog can be anticipated to develop overnight and into Tuesday throughout the Big Bend and Peninsula, with additional areas of fog development likely throughout North Florida.
• Low temperatures will fall into the upper 50s to upper 60s, with portions of Southeast Florida and the Keys possibly reaching the low 70s.
• A moderate risk for rip currents persists along several Panhandle and East-Central Florida beaches, while a low risk can be expected elsewhere.
