Winter Storm Watch issued February 10 at 1:05PM PST until February 14 at 10:00PM PST by NWS Reno NV

* WHAT…Heavy snow. Snow accumulations between 1 to 2 feet along
and west of Hwy 89 with 2 to 4 feet along the Sierra crest. 10 to
20 inches around lake level. Ridge winds gusting as high as 100
mph with gusts up to 45 mph at lower elevations. Lake Tahoe waves
between 2 to 4 feet.

* WHERE…Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

* WHEN…From Wednesday evening through Friday evening.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening
commutes. Very strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees
and power lines.
