Counties. In West Virginia, Western Mineral County.
* WHEN…For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 11 AM Tuesday to 7 AM
EST Wednesday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Wednesday
afternoon through late Wednesday night.
* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning
commutes. Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Snow will overspread the area Tuesday morning
with the steadiest snow expected Tuesday afternoon and evening.
Snowfall rates around one half inch per hour and visibility below
one half mile are possible Tuesday afternoon and evening. A light
wintry mix is expected Wednesday morning through midday. A
steadier wintry mix is expected late Wednesday afternoon and
Wednesday night.
