Two winter systems will impact the region between now and Thursday
morning, the first of which will primarily drop snow Tuesday and
Tuesday night, and possibly light freezing rain early Wednesday
morning. The second system will bring a chance for mixed
precipitation and significant freezing rain Wednesday afternoon into
early Thursday.
* WHAT…Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations
between 2 and 5 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze.
* WHERE…Portions of southwest Pennsylvania and northern West
Virginia.
* WHEN…From 10 AM Tuesday to 4 AM EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Tuesday evening commute.
