Advisory for the following rivers in Kentucky…

Cumberland River at Barbourville affecting Knox County.

Cumberland River at Pineville affecting Bell County.

Poor Fork Cumberland River at Baxter affecting Harlan County.

* WHAT…Elevated river levels caused by excessive rainfall are
expected.

* WHERE…Cumberland River at Barbourville.

* WHEN…From this evening to Friday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 27.0 feet, Low lying roads flood. Manchester street
floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:30 PM EST Tuesday the stage was 20.9 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to gradually rise to a crest
near 25.7 feet Wednesday morning and then gradually recede.
– Flood stage is 27.0 feet.
