Warning for the following rivers in Kentucky…

Cumberland River at Williamsburg affecting Whitley County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Cumberland River at Williamsburg.

* WHEN…From Wednesday morning to early Saturday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 PM EST Tuesday the stage was 16.7 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
around sunrise on Wednesday and then gradually rise to a
crest around 23.7 feet on Thursday evening. Then the river
will gradually recede, likely falling below flood stage by
late Friday night.
– Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
