Pearl River Near Rockport affecting Copiah and Simpson Counties.

Pearl River Near Monticello affecting Lawrence County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Pearl River near Monticello.

* WHEN…From late Thursday night to early Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 22.0 feet, Water inundates some lowland and
agricultural land near the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:15 AM CST Wednesday the stage was 9.7 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Friday morning to a crest of 22.5 feet early Friday
afternoon.
– Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
