Ice Storm Warning issued February 11 at 9:12PM EST until February 13 at 4:00AM EST by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC

* WHAT…For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy mixed precipitation.
Additional snow accumulations up to two inches and ice
accumulations around one tenth of an inch. For the Ice Storm
Warning, significant icing expected. Total snow and sleet
accumulations of less than one inch and ice accumulations of two
to three tenths of an inch.

* WHERE…Portions of central, northwest, and western Virginia and
eastern West Virginia.

* WHEN…For the Winter Storm Warning, until 7 AM EST Wednesday. For
the Ice Storm Warning, from 3 PM Wednesday to 4 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening
commutes. Tree damage and power outages are possible due to the
weight of ice on trees and wires. Gusty winds heading into
Thursday could result in additional downed trees and wires and
more power outages.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Light snow will gradually taper off
overnight. A light wintry mix is possible for a few hours
Wednesday morning. Steadier freezing rain is expected late
Wednesday afternoon through late Wednesday night.
