Flood Advisory issued February 12 at 7:13PM CST until February 12 at 10:15PM CST by NWS New Orleans LA

* WHAT…Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of southeast Louisiana, including the following
parish, East Baton Rouge.

* WHEN…Until 1015 PM CST.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 713 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Up to 0.5 inches of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Baton Rouge, Port Allen, Merrydale, Westminster, Brownfields,
Inniswold and Baton Rouge Airport.
