Flood Warning issued February 12 at 10:40AM CST until February 17 at 6:00PM CST by NWS Paducah KY

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Illinois…Kentucky…Indiana…

Ohio River at Newburgh Dam, Mount Vernon, J.T. Myers Dam and
Shawneetown.

.Recent heavy rainfall will continue to cause rises on the Ohio
River. The river will crest at these locations from this evening
through Friday.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Ohio River at Mount Vernon.

* WHEN…Until Monday evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 6:00 AM CST Wednesday the stage was 37.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 38.2
feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage
early Monday afternoon.
– Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
