Flood Watch issued February 12 at 3:48PM EST until February 13 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Jackson KY

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall and snowmelt
continues to be possible.

* WHERE…Portions of east central, northeast, south central, and
southeast Kentucky, including the following counties, in east
central Kentucky, Estill. In northeast Kentucky, Johnson and
Martin. In south central Kentucky, Laurel, McCreary, Pulaski,
Rockcastle, Wayne and Whitley. In southeast Kentucky, Bell,
Breathitt, Clay, Floyd, Harlan, Jackson, Knott, Knox, Lee, Leslie,
Letcher, Magoffin, Owsley, Perry, Pike and Wolfe.

* WHEN…Through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– A passing wave of low pressure will bring additional light to
moderate rain to southern and central parts of eastern
Kentucky through Thursday morning. With rain falling on
already saturated ground combined with snow melt, additional
flooding is possible. Rain, potentially heavy, will be
possible this upcoming weekend.
