High Surf Advisory issued February 12 at 8:39PM PST until February 15 at 9:00AM PST by NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA

* WHAT…Large breaking waves of 4 to 8 feet with local sets to
12 feet during the peak of the event Friday, along with
dangerous rip currents.

* WHERE…Santa Barbara County Southwestern Coast and Santa
Barbara County Southeastern Coast.

* WHEN…From 9 PM Thursday to 9 AM PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS…There is an increased risk for ocean drowning. Rip
currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Large
breaking waves can cause injury, wash people off beaches and
rocks, and capsize small boats near shore.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Some minor flooding of low lying areas
such as parking lots and coastal walkways is possible near the
times of the morning high tides Friday and Saturday.
