High Wind Watch issued February 12 at 1:17PM MST until February 13 at 11:00AM MST by NWS Cheyenne WY

* WHAT…For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills
between 20 and 30 below expected. For the High Wind Watch, west
winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible.

* WHERE…South Laramie Range.

* WHEN…For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 8 PM this evening to 8
AM MST Thursday. For the High Wind Watch, from 11 PM MST this
evening through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS…Mainly to transportation. Strong cross winds will be
hazardous to light weight or high profile vehicles, including
campers and tractor trailers. In addition, areas of blowing snow
could lead to reduced visibility, even whiteout conditions, and
slick roads. The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 below
zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30
minutes.
