Lake Effect Snow Warning issued February 12 at 9:45PM EST until February 15 at 1:00AM EST by NWS Buffalo NY

* WHAT…For the Winter Weather Advisory, mixed precipitation.
Additional snow and sleet accumulations an inch or less and ice
accumulations around a few hundredths of an inch. For the Lake
Effect Snow Warning, heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow
accumulations 7 to 14 inches in the most persistent lake snows.
Winds gusting 40 to 50 mph.

* WHERE…Northern Cayuga and Oswego Counties.

* WHEN…For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 4 AM EST Thursday.
For the Lake Effect Snow Warning, from 4 PM Thursday to 1 AM EST
Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Travel will be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
will impact the Thursday and Friday morning and evening commutes.
Gusty winds could down tree branches and cause isolated power
outages.
