Winter Storm Watch issued February 12 at 2:22PM MST until February 15 at 8:00PM MST by NWS Grand Junction CO

* WHAT…Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 10
and 20 inches with locally higher amounts possible. Winds could
gust as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE…Elkhead and Park Mountains, Flat Tops, and Gore and Elk
Mountains/Central Mountain Valleys.

* WHEN…From Thursday evening through Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult
to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday
morning and evening commutes.
