Winter Weather Advisory issued February 12 at 9:45PM EST until February 13 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Buffalo NY

* WHAT…Mixed precipitation. Additional snow and sleet
accumulations 3 to 6 inches and ice accumulations of a few
hundredths of an inch to up to two tenths of an inch. The greatest
snow accumulations will be near the Saint Lawrence River, and the
greatest ice accumulations will be across the Tug Hill Plateau.
Winds gusting as high as 40 to 50 mph late tonight and early
Thursday, especially near the north slopes of the Tug Hill and
within the Black River valley.

* WHERE…Jefferson and Lewis Counties.

* WHEN…Until 7 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Travel will be difficult. The hazardous conditions will
impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds may
down tree branches and cause isolated power outages.
