Levisa Fork at Prestonsburg affecting Floyd County.

* WHAT…Elevated river levels caused by excessive rainfall continue.

* WHERE…Levisa Fork at Prestonsburg.

* WHEN…Until early Saturday afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:45 PM EST Thursday the stage was 26.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to recede from late tonight
into the day on Saturday. However, renewed rises due to
forecast heavy rain over the weekend are expected and a
result, the river may rise to crest near 36.2 feet Sunday
evening or Sunday night and then recede early next week.
– Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
