* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…Monterey county in the Santa Lucia Highlands.

* WHEN…Until 830 PM PST.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 622 PM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
advisory area. Between 4 and 8 inches of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain may result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Arroyo Seco, Lucia, Tassajara Hot Springs, Gorda, Jamesburg,
Big Sur Village, Gonzales, Colman Canyon, Sycamore Flat,
Esalen Institute, Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, Partington
Ridge, Cachagua Near The Los Padres Dam, Pico Blanco
Campground and Andrew Molera State Park.

Numerous gas fields are flooded. Some agricultural lands in Johnson County also are flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 359.2 feet. -

Special Weather Statement issued June 8 at 8:17AM AKDT by NWS Fairbanks AK

A cold air mass sits above Interior Alaska. Cloudy conditions Sunday begin to diminish in the evening and overnight. Low lying areas in valleys that clear in the early morning may develop frost Monday morning. Patches of clearing skies are most likely Sunday night into Monday along the Middle Tanana Valley from Nenana through Salcha. Frost is unlikely for all but the lowest lying valleys and along rivers.
