Flood Warning issued February 13 at 10:37PM EST by NWS Jackson KY

…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Kentucky…

Kentucky River near Ravenna affecting Estill County.

* WHAT…Major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Kentucky River near Ravenna.

* WHEN…Until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 39.4 feet, Flooding will exceed the highest flood on
record.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:20 PM EST Thursday the stage was 20.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river has receded below flood stage and is
expected to remain below flood stage through Saturday.
However, additional heavy rain is expected this weekend which
will result in the river rising above flood stage Saturday
night or Sunday morning and continue rising to to a crest
around 37.5 feet late Sunday night or Monday morning. Then
the river is forecast to recede during the first half of next
week.
– Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
