Big Black River Near Bovina affecting Warren and Hinds Counties.

Big Black River At West affecting Attala and Holmes Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Big Black River near Bentonia.

* WHEN…Until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 26.5 feet, Flooding of agricultural land has more
than doubled in the last 1.5 feet rise.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 6:00 PM CST Thursday the stage was 24.4 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 26.0
feet Tuesday morning.
– Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
