Warning for the following rivers in North Carolina…

Cape Fear River At William O Huske Lock And Dam 3 affecting
Bladen and Cumberland Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Cape Fear River at William O Huske Lock And Dam 3.

* WHEN…From Friday evening to early Monday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 45.0 feet, Flood waters will affect lowlands along
the east bank of the river with some minor overflow along the west
bank.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:00 PM EST Thursday the stage was 37.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow evening to a crest of 43.9 feet early Saturday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Sunday
morning.
– Flood stage is 42.0 feet.
