Tennessee…

Sequatchie River Near Whitwell TN affecting Marion, Bledsoe and
Sequatchie Counties.

For the Sequatchie River…including Whitwell TN…Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Sequatchie River near Whitwell TN.

* WHEN…Until tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS…At 14.0 feet, Flooding of agricultural land occurs.
Portions of Mt. Calvary Road along the river may begin to flood.
At 16.0 feet, Flooding of agricultural land becomes more
extensive. Water reaches the bottom of the river gage house.
Portions of Mt. Calvary Road along the river are inundated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:15 PM CST Thursday the stage was 14.1 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:15 PM CST Thursday was 14.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 3.5 feet
Tuesday evening.
– Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
