* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Big Nance Creek at Courtland.

* WHEN…Until early Saturday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:30 PM CST Thursday the stage was 17.8 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:30 PM CST Thursday was 17.8 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.0
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage tomorrow evening.
– Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
18.0 feet on 02/22/1953.
