Mississippi, Southeast Missouri, including the following counties,
Dunklin and Pemiscot, and West Tennessee, including the following
counties, Benton, Carroll, Crockett, Decatur, Dyer, Gibson,
Henderson, Henry, Lake, Lauderdale, Obion and Weakley.
* WHEN…Until 400 PM CST.
* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1238 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Dyersburg, Blytheville, Martin, Union City, Paris, Humboldt,
Milan, Caruthersville, McKenzie, Trenton, Huntingdon,
Gosnell, Manila, Hayti, Steele, Leachville, Reelfoot Lake
State Park, Paris Landing State Park, Tiptonville and
Newbern.
