…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Georgia…

Conasauga River at Tilton affecting Gordon, Whitfield and Murray
Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Conasauga River at Tilton.

* WHEN…Until Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 18 feet, Flood stage is reached. Minor flooding
begins in the woodlands…fields and pastures along the river
upstream and downstream from the gage on the Brackett Ridge Road
bridge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 PM EST Friday the stage was 18.4 feet and rising.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.7
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage early tomorrow afternoon.
– Flood stage is 18 feet.
