For the Greenbrier River…including Alderson…Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Greenbrier River at Alderson.

* WHEN…From Sunday evening to early Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 15.0 feet, Farm land along river bank near gage is
flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:45 PM EST Friday the stage was 6.4 feet and slowly
falling.
– Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late Sunday evening to a crest of 15.0 feet Monday morning.
It will then fall below flood stage late Monday morning.
– Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
15.0 feet on 03/01/1902.
